Voting is now open in the NUS Delegate Elections. These elections determine who will represent Birmingham at the Annual Conference of the National Union of Students, the one meeting of the national student movement. Annual Conference sets the policies of your national union and elects its National Executive, including the NUS President.
Students living in University accommodation can also vote in the RA Elections 2011. These elections will determine who will be responsible next for representing the students who live in their residence and ensuring that they have access to great entertainments and activities. For first-years who live in private accommodation or at their parental home, voting is also open in the elections for FOCSOC, the Freshers Off-Campus Society.
All candidates in the RA Elections were asked three questions by the current Vice President Housing and Community. Click on the links below to find out what the candidates in your residence had to say about why they’d be good for position, how they would involve all residents in the RA and what they wanted to do to for their residents.
