The Elections

Every year seven students are paid to work full-time to lead Birmingham Guild of Students. A further ten are chosen to volunteer within the Guild, ensuring that the concerns of a particular group of students are listened to by Sabbatical Officers and Guild services.

Chosen by their fellow students in a campus-wide vote, they become leaders of an organisation with an annual turnover of £4.3million, a staff team of over three hundred and over two thousand active volunteers.

To take part, you just need to nominate yourself to run. The Guild’s Student Voice department will then support you in every step of your campaign.
