Get your first week at University off to a flying start by visiting the various Welcome Week fairs and events held by your Guild of Students.

Welcome Week (21 -25 September 2009) is exactly what it says – a week to welcome you to or back to the Guild of Students. If you’re a fresher, it will Students at the Freshers Fair 2007 probably be one of the busiest weeks of your university life.
You might be leaving home to move into new accommodation, living with and meeting new people, starting your degree and adapting to a whole new lifestyle. If you’re returning to university, you may be moving into a new house, living with new people or starting new course modules.

This year, there are even more opportunities to get involved and see how you can benefit from being a member of the Guild. Whatever your situation, Welcome Week is designed to make the start of your academic year as easy and as fun as possible.
