Welcome Week is a week of events and activities designed to welcome you to, or back to, the Guild of Students and University of Birmingham.
Throughout the week the Guild hosts a range of activities and events designed to help you settle into University life and get a snap shot of what’s on offer. Our events and activities include evening entertainments such as Fresher’s Fest and the Fresher’s Ball, and day time activities such as our Welcome Week Fairs which can help you get involved with a Student Group or Society, meet local and national companies, and help you find part-time work.

We’re also on hand in the run up to and throughout Welcome Week to help with any queries or questions you may have.

Getting involved with the Guild is a great way to develop skills, build your CV, meet new people and most of all – have fun!
