As a part of our Black Voices Campaign, we're hosting a Discussion Panel on 'Coded Bias' which will be taking place on Thursday 4th March at 1pm. This discussion is intended to explore whether there are social biases in code (particularly in relation to BAME communities), the ways in which technology and artificial intelligence are influencing how we organise our society and the resolutions to this problem in the future.

Panel members include: experts from the School of Computer Science, the School of Business and a student representative from the Computer Science Society (CSS), who will all be providing their unique perspectives on this topic, in order to achieve our campaign goal of creating a platform where issues affecting the BAME community are discussed in an edifying way.

This panel discussion will take place over Zoom and an invite will be sent personally to your email address on the day of the event.
