Your Guild of Students

Hi, we’re your Guild of Students, your students’ union at the University of Birmingham and it’s our job to bring you a Welcome Week to remember! From fairs to socials and our amazing club nights, we organise your OFFICIAL line-up of Welcome events and your Welcome Wristband!

We’re a democratically led organisation, run by students for students, meaning all students at the University of Birmingham, are automatically members of the Guild. It’s our job to represent your views to the Uni, support you during your time at Birmingham, entertain you, and help you make friends and learn skills through our 300+ societies.

Are you a representative of an agency or company who is interested in working with us this Welcome Week? Last year our Welcome Fair saw over 8000 attendees across the two days, meaning this is the perfect place to meet new and returning students.
