From time to time we like to run competitions, to emphasise certain campaigns or just to give you the opportunity to win some great prizes.  So that we are totally transparent and fair, please see our terms & conditions below, which are updated for each competition we run.

Damp and Disrepair Instagram Quiz Competition – Terms and Conditions:

1. By entering our competition, entrants confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, as well as Instagram’s terms of use..
2. The Promoter is University of Birmingham Guild of Students, Edgbaston Park Road, Birmingham, B15 2TU (Company Number: 6638759) (the ‘Promoter’).

How to enter:

1. To enter the competition entrants must visit the Promoter’s Instagram channel
2. The Entrant must then complete our Damp and Disrepair Housing Quiz on Instagram stories.
3. To be in with a chance of winning the competition Entrants must answer all questions correctly.
4. The competition is open to all current students at the University of Birmingham. A valid Student ID number will be required if you win, before you can take receipt of the prize
5. One entry allowed per person. Entries submitted on behalf of another person will not be accepted. Incomplete or late entries will not be accepted.

1. The competition is open to entries until 12pm on Wednesday 4^th November 2020.
2. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
3. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without prior notice. Any changes to the competition will be communicated as soon as possible by the promoter.

Prize:

1. The Promoter is offering the Cif and Domestos Ultimate Student Cleaning Kit.
2. The prize is non-refundable, non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative will be offered. The Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.

How The Winner Will Be Selected and Notified:

1. The Winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries during the promotion period.
2. The Winner will be notified by DM on Instagram within 7 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
3. The Promoter will notify the Winner of the process for receiving their prize.
4. The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

1. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for network, computer or software failures of any kind and has no responsibility for lost or delayed entries. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility for any infringement of any third party intellectual property rights caused by entrants entering this promotion.
2. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Instagram. You are providing information to the Promoter and not to any other party.
