Through discussions with leading Black scholars and activists, traders within the Commonwealth, and university students (including UoB!), the film explores contemporary attitudes towards the British Commonwealth.
This is a free event hosted at the MAC (tickets are available on eventbrite at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/the-future-of-the-commonwealth-film-launch-tickets-1033528861647).
The film will be of particular interest to anthropologists, African studies students, politicians, and historians, but we engourage everyone to come along!
