Come along to our outreach training event where you can learn more about the society and the exciting outreach that we do in local schools.
We have 3 types of workshops to learn about, each following a different Sustainable Development Goal. Each involves a presentation aiming to teach kids about the problems in these areas and how "the magic of engineering" can solve these problems sustainably, followed by a fun building exercise. These workshops aim to inspire the children to go into STEM professions or be interested in STEM topics and sustainability.
The workshop will work in a "speed-dating" fashion where groups will go between 4 tables to learn about the 3 workshops and the process of becoming a STEM ambassador.
