Our third weekend trip of the yeart, and our second weekend trip to Wales! This time to the lovely Brecon Beacons with its mountains and moors!
Tickets will be released on Monday the 25th of November at 8PM. Tickets are likely to sell out quickly so be on it! If you are unable to get hold of a full ticket, purchase a reserve to be added to the waiting list- as we are likely have places come available on the week of the trip.
Price- £60. This includes: accommodation, transport, food on the Saturday night, and breakfasts.
A full kit list will be sent out to you by email. You’ll need walking boots, waterproof layers and water bottles to carry 1.5 litres. We’ll also ask you to bring food for lunches. Trainers are not suitable for this trip and we may have to turn members away if they don not have the right kit for health and safety reasons.
Thanks,
Wayfarers Committee
When you purchase a ticket to this event, you will not be entitled to a refund under any circumstances unless:
- You inform Wayfarers Hiking Society (the Society) as soon as possible after you realise you can no longer attend.
- You inform the Society at least two days before the event is scheduled to begin. - For example: - With a standard Friday to Sunday weekend trip, you will need to inform us by 5pm on Wednesday.
- With a standard Saturday coach trip, you will need to inform us by 5pm on Thursday. - With a standard Sunday minibus trip, you will need to inform us by 5pm on Friday.
- This is to allow us time to find a replacement member to take your place on the trip. - You find a suitable replacement member yourself for your ticket.
- In these cases, please inform the Society as soon as possible that you wish to transfer a ticket, upon which we will advise further on what to do. - You are otherwise authorised to receive a refund from the Society by the Society’s Committee.
- Your statutory rights protect your right to a refund. Where applicable, the Society reserves the right to refuse refund requests. Extenuating circumstances may be considered in addition to the general rules above, e.g. bereavement, emergencies, and unforeseen medical considerations. The Society will endeavour to be understanding and flexible of requests for refunds, but each refunded unfilled space on events costs the Society - and therefore its members - money, therefore not every refund request is guaranteed to be accepted.
