We're Still Here For You

When our building reopens, we will of course still be abiding by Government Guidance, and social distancing will still be in place throughout. This is the same for our Officer and staff team who will be working in the building, but in reduced numbers. However, this doesn't mean that you won't get the same great service from us. We're all hard at work ensuring that the services we can provide, are still available to you all.

Guild Advice

If you need some extra help and support, or if you're struggling with money, housing, academic issues or you need mental health support, our advice team are offering virtual appointments. Visit the webpage for more information, or email them to make an appintment.

How We're Protecting Our Students

Your Officer Team are currently having lots of conversations with the University to try and make things better for all our students right now. Whether that's lobbying for rent refunds, or more socially distanced study space in the library; they have a list of asks and recommendations for the University to implement. If you have an issue or an idea that would improve your student experience, then let our Student Voice team know and they'll be in touch. Joe's Bar

In line with Government guidance, Joe's Bar has now reopened, offering an outdoor service. You'll be able to sit and (hopefully) enjoy the sunshine in Mermaid Square, while experiencing the very best food and drink that Joe's Bar has to offer. We'll be offering you a table booking service; all you need to do is email Joestablebooking@guild.bham.ac.uk and let us know which day and time, and for how many people you need the table for. We'll then get back to you to confirm your booking. Haven't booked? No worries as we're also taking walk-ups. We just can't guarantee you a table at busy times.

Joe's Bar will be open:

Tuesday 25th May onwards: open Monday - Saturday,12:00pm until 21:00 each day

Closed on Sundays

Joe's Bar on Just Eat

Joe's Bar is also on Just Eat, so you can enjoy the same great meals, from the comfort of your own home. We'll be operating the same hours as Joe's Bar, above. You can also use Just Eat to click and collect, as well as the UoB Click & Collect service (which anyone can now use, not just MealPlan)
