Events Coordinator

This role is part of the Residence Life department working collectively with colleagues delivering the Guild’s support provision for students living in University and nominated accommodation. The department sits within the Community & Representation Directorate.

The Residence Life Scheme builds a sense of community in student accommodation through a calendar of events, activities and trips. The Events Coordinator is responsible for supervising, developing and supporting student staff to deliver and promote a timetable of events and activities for those students living in University of Birmingham residences.

A key part of this role is to support a team of student staff to develop and plan initiatives and events, and deliver a timetable of activities for students living in University of Birmingham residences, with a focus on increased participation and engagement.
