Following the launch of the University’s No Detriment Approach, we’ve received a huge amount of feedback from students. You have voiced your concerns, your worries and highlighted many areas where you felt the current Approach was not fully supporting you and your circumstances.
In response, your Officer Team put forward 4 key recommendations to the University to provide you with the best degree outcome, but these were rejected. Read the University's response.
Recommendations:
- A 5% increase for all dissertations/final year projects, including PGT.
- A guarantee that no student will graduate with less than their trajectory.
- An expansion of the grade boundaries by 0.5%.
- Give students a chance to do assessments, to improve their 80 credits.
