Want to ramble about a current hyper-fixation, vent about a life long passion or simply share something you love or find interesting?
Want to make new friends and get to know like-minded nerds?
Or equally, do you want to learn something new, listening to fascinating talks and discussions on topics you’ve never heard of?
NerdSoc is the perfect place for you!

We meet every Tuesday from 7-10pm for our NerdBabbles: we start with a talk from one of our members (or sometimes a guest speaker or TED talk) on any subject. The presentation is used as a springboard for discussion, but as nerds, we could end up anywhere!
The second half of our meetings is an informal (nerdy) social. This is also the time when we get involved in Acts of Kindness, whether that be acts of kindness towards the planet, other people or ourselves! Activities range from recycled origami, working on mental health or spreading positive messages around campus.

We also run other social events throughout the year such as film screenings, quiz nights and chill-out sessions with colouring in and games during exam periods.
