The University of Birmingham Planning Society is a departmental society for students within the Centre for Urban and Regional Studies (CURS), as well as for anybody with an interest in urban and regional planning or other associated disciplines such as urban design, real estate, and surveying. Throughout the year we will organise incredible socials ranging from nights out to sports, for our members. In addition, we host many planning focused events with profesionals and academics from across the wide discipline that planning encompasses (urban, environmental, transport...). Furthermore, we will help members plan for their future careers through supporting work placement and experience opportunities and post-graduate study choices.
