Hello everyone!
Fancy improving your core strength, flexibility, and inner peace, all while finding your new best friends? Then, the University of Birmingham Yoga Society is for you! All our classes are suitable for beginners, and they are all led by professional teachers from yoga studios around Birmingham. Our classes run five times a week:
Monday to Wednesday classes (4-5pm)
Thursday classes (2-3pm)
Pay for classes at the door (we can only take cash). You can hire mats at each class for a donation of £1. All money raised from mat rental will be donated to a charity you chose!
This year, we will be running 4 1-hour classes per week at only £4 for members! Buy a membership for £4 from this website to get a discount for classes.
This society is perfect for beginners wanting to give something new a go, as well as for those who are a little bit more experienced (the majority of the committee were beginners, so don't worry at all if you've never tried it before)! We run loads of socials, as well as taking part in both Societies Nights and Sports Nights with pres as a society. Practicing yoga will not only help improve your flexibility/strength but also give you a chance to make friends and have fun.
