What do RA's do?
Your Residents’ Association (RA) is made up of 15 student staff members (RAs) managed by the Guild of Students in partnership with the University of Birmingham
Each resident contributes towards the RA scheme through their accommodation fees – so through activities, events and support, we want to ensure you are getting value for that money
RAs are also an important point of communication between accommodation staff and students. Your RAs can take on any feedback you may have and relay it to the right people to ensure any issues you have are resolved as quickly as possible
Your RAs organise a variety of activities and events, support and represent you, but most importantly make sure you get the most out of your time in accommodation
Your Residents’ Association will be running a wide range of activities throughout the year – look out for the Freshers’ Fling, Winter Ball, Easter Egg-Stravaganza, Open Air Cinema, trips to Harry Potter Studios, Alton Towers and much more!
