Fellowship Vision and Positioning
The Birmingham University Chinese Christians Fellowship (referred to as CCF) is a student society registered with the Guild of Students at the University of Birmingham. The fellowship serves as an important platform for sharing the gospel with the Chinese-speaking student community, while also representing Chinese Christian students at the University of Birmingham, collaborating with other societies and organizations. Therefore, we should welcome and attract Chinese-speaking students to participate in fellowship activities. We should actively create diverse gatherings, allowing Christians and non-Christians to explore the true meaning of living in Jesus Christ together. We should encourage personal spiritual growth for everyone in fellowship, creating opportunities for mutual understanding and a deeper understanding of the meaning of one's life in this process.
It is ideal for the committee to be composed by current students, with responsibilities encompassing both administrative management of the fellowship and spiritual guidance. The pastors and ministers who are actively involved and support the fellowship have spiritual authority and need to serve, nurture, and assist the committee members to become a more mature and unified team, understanding the true meaning of serving Jesus Christ.
All of our fellowship committee members should know and believe in the mission stated above, and we should actively use existing resources to create an environment to fulfil this mission.
May the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ always illuminate the path of fellowship,
giving us the courage and confidence to preach the gospel we believe in,
guiding everyone who serves with wisdom to lead others,
blessing everyone who comes to fellowship gatherings with fruitful experiences,
caring for us to have a humble, obedient, and resilient attitude in serving the Chinese student community,
may the grace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ be with everyone forever,
our fellowship's united prayer, offered in the holy name of Jesus Christ,
Amen!
Fellowship Motto
"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light."
