We are recruiting Street Champions: volunteers who will play an active role in the local community. Street Champions are volunteers who will act as the ‘eyes and ears’ of our community. Each volunteer will be allocated a road/(s) in Bournbrook that they are responsible for, with a view to keep them clean, green and safe and aligned to support community cohesion, via community events and regular reports
In this role you will have the opportunity to meet an array of people from your local community, and have the chance to inform the work of the Community Wardens by sharing any concerns and championing any ideas you may have.

Role Title: Street Champion
Responsible to: Community Warden / Community Warden Coordinator
Expected time commitment: 1 – 2 hours per week
Summary of role:
To volunteer your time to be the ‘eyes and ears’ of your community, reporting on your findings and any issues raised to the Community Wardens. To support with community activities and events eg. litter picks, canal grapples and Street Watch. Each Street Champion will be responsible for a road/(s) in the Bournbrook area.
