Scrutiny Panel

What is the purpose of Scrutiny Panel?

The Scrutiny Panel consists of five UoB students who scrutinise the Officer Team on their work, progress on their  written statement (manifesto) aims and policies, and other activity that they've undertaken. The Panel read and review reports from the Officers, to understand what they have been working on, and ask the Officers questions at meetings. The Panel also offer positive and constructive feedback to the Officers.

The Panel usually meets three times a year. Scrutiny Panel Meetings are open for students and researchers to attend and you can also submit questions prior to the meeting. After each meeting, the Panel works together to write a feedback report, with information about each Officer's performance. Minutes for the Scrutiny Panel meetings will be published.
